Sealing & Expunction

If you have been charged with a crime without being criminally convicted, you may be eligible to have the charge sealed or expunged from your record. The Office of the Public Defender is able to serve clients it has represented in the past who may qualify for sealing or expunction at no professional cost to them, with mandatory fees totaling approximately $130 paid to other entities along the way. Restoration of Civil Rights

Those convicted of felonies lose the right to vote until their sentence is completed which includes paying restitution and fines that are owed.

Early Termination of Probation
